OVERVIEW 总览
北欧博士学位一般为4年，不收取任何学费，有学校补贴。满足学习基本条件后，4年可获得永久居留权。完成博士教育意味着全身心投入研究项目，由经验丰富的导师监督，并按照个人学习计划来实施。博士生同时需要参与课程并完成论文。依据不同的研究项目，每个博士生将有各自独特的教育，不同的导师，并对个人有不同的要求，但相同的是，所有博士生将向着同一个整体学习目标努力。

录取要求 Meet Eligibility
在找到适合自己研究方向的空位后，再去详细了解具体的入学申请要求。分为基本要求和特殊要求：
基本要求 General eligibility
A person meets the general entry requirements for doctoral education if he or she:
- has been awarded a degree at the advanced (second-cycle) level
- has satisfied the requirements for courses comprising at least 240 credits of which at least 60 credits were awarded at the advanced level, or
- has acquired substantially equivalent knowledge in some other way in Sweden or abroad.
The higher education institution may permit an exemption from the general entry requirements for an individual applicant, if there are special grounds.

特殊要求 Specific eligibility (English)
Since 2014 all applicants must show proficiency in English equivalent to the course English B/English 6 (with a passing grade) at the Swedish upper secondary school.
Applicants who meet the general entry requirements (points 1. and 2. above, chapter 7, 39§) through academic credentials from a Nordic higher education institution, are assessed to meet the English language requirement. Please note that for example a Swedish license to practice medicine is not accepted as a proof of proficiency in English.

学费问题 Study Funding
所有博士生在其学习过程中都将得到财务资助，其来源是学校提供的博士助学金或奖学金，或以雇佣的方式由第三方雇主提供，或是外部奖学金。
无论学生是哪国国籍，博士教育都不收取学费。
学习计划 Study Plan
入学后，博士生学习的内容由博士生与博士导师共同拟定，在入学后经学院院长批准，该学习内容将列入进博士生的个人学习计划。个人学习计划包括了博士阶段的学习目的，研究计划，财务计划，监督方式以及课程表等。博士生需按照个人学习计划来开展学习和工作，学院将监督其年度进程。

两种学位
– Licentiate degree (after two years studies at doctoral level)
– Doctoral (PhD) degree (after four years studies at doctoral level)
A doctoral degree is issued after a public defence of a doctoral thesis. A licentiate thesis is publically defended at a licentiate seminar.

个人简历可以是自己的学术研究的过程，也可以是工作上的经历。两种简历对于PHD的申请有着不同的帮助。
个人陈述
A Statement of Purpose: a concise statement concerning your plans for PhD studies and your career objectives.
课程描述
对于国际申请人，北欧院校希望申请人可以提供自己之前所在学校的评分系统以及个人在本专业内的学习情况。
期刊论文
申请人需要提供个人在本专业内最具代表性的学术论文。
导师推荐
申请人需要提供学习期间相关导师的个人推荐，推荐信的内容格式将以电子链接的形式发送到推荐人的邮箱。
第3步
学术背景
学术背景的考察项目，主要是申请人所在大学的专业排名，个人的成绩排名，以及相关的考试成绩
研究方向
研究方向是获取北欧PHD Offer的关键。北欧的PHD是以项目为导向，导师在确定的研究方案后，会先从本校内进行PHD招募，然后再进行国际招募。这就需要PHD申请人要时刻关注目标院校的申请空位与未来的研究方向，尽量将自己的个人研究计划与目标院校的研究方向相统一。
